By visiting or using the Website or Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent that we will collect, use, and share your Personal, Shared or Usage information in the following ways. Any capitalized terms used herein without definition shall have the meaning given to them in the Company Terms of Use located at www.imwiththem.org.

I. What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?

This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) that we gather when you are accessing or using our Website. It also addresses information that you have shared with us that does not identify you (“Shared Information”) and information obtained from you based on how you use the Website (“Usage Information”). This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage. This policy does not apply to information collected offline. This policy only applies to information collected through our website.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Services (as that term is defined in our Terms of Use). If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any Personal Information to us or on the Services. In the event that we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please notify us through the Contact Us page.

II. What Information is Collected?

We collect your Personal Information. When you register, you will be asked to provide your name, email address, cell phone number, your home address, your birthdate, and the last 4 digits of your social security number. We will also ask you for your credit card information, including the credit card number, the expiration date, the CVC code and the billing zip code. Once you pass authentication, we retain only your name, email address, cell phone number and birth year. We delete all other Personal Information you provided when you registered. We may anonymize your Personal Information so that you cannot be individually identified, and provide that information to others.

I’m With Them uses BlockScore to provide authentication of users. While I’m With Them does not retain the month and day of a user’s birthdate, their home address or last four digits of their Social Security number, BlockScore is required by the Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA) to retain any information used in authentication: the user’s name, cell phone number, IP address, birthdate, home address and last four digits of SSN. Only authorized personnel at I’m With Them can access that information by logging into the BlockScore website, and such information is devoid of any other information the User has added at I’m With Them.

I'm With Them uses Twilio to send a verification code to the user during the registration process. Twilio receives no other information and retains the number for 30 to 60 days.

After you register, we collect Shared Information about your experience with a perpetrator. Shared Information includes non-identifying information that describes You. We will ask your perceived gender, characteristics of your relationship to the perpetrator, and whether you were employed at the same time by the same company. Shared Information also includes characteristics of the qualities and severity of your experience with that person. We collect data regarding substantiation you have about the experience, and, if you have reported it to the perpetrator’s employer, your satisfaction with your reporting experience. We may anonymize your Shared Information--so that you cannot be individually identified--and study, market and sell that data in aggregate with data from others as analysis or reports.

We may also collect Usage Information, different than Personal Information, including IP address, browser and OS details, time of access and the referring URL, and we will track the order of the pages you visit and website usage data, such as which pages you visit and how often. We may use an IP address to determine a potential user's geographic location to prevent those from oustide North America from using the site. We may anonymize your Usage Information--so that you cannot be individually identified--and study, market and sell that data in aggregate with data from others.

I’m With Them uses Google Analytics to study how our users use our site, which enables us to improve it. In turn, Google Analytics uses Cookies, which gather information such as which page is open, browser type, server, language preference and country setting. Users have the ability to opt out of having cookies placed for the purposes of Google Analytics; you can do so by obtaining an opt-out browser add-in available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. I'm With Them Also uses cookies for authentication and to manage the session between your browser and our servers. They help us remember you and remember where you have been at our site. By using our site, you acknowledge and accept our use of cookies.

We do not use Google products or services designed for advertising, marketing or remarketing campaigns. We do not use hot elements that would allow Google Analytics to collect information about data fields selected on our pages.

Should you ever use the Contact Us form, you will be asked to provide us with your name, email address and your relationship to us.

You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to register with us or to take advantage of some of our features.

III. How Will the Company Use the Information It Collects?

Other than to authenticate and bill you and to provide your contact information with others who share a common perpetrator, we neither share, rent nor sell your Personal Information in personally identifiable form to anyone. We (or substantially all of our assets) could be acquired; go out of business; enter bankruptcy; or go through some other change of control. In the event of these situations, we will erase all personal information identifying you specifically.

We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we reasonably believe is necessary to comply with law or court order; enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Company, our employees, our users, or others. VIII. Ownership of Your Personal Information

Your Personal Information, as defined above, belongs to you. If you wish to see the Personal Information you have stored at our site, you may do so under My Profile. You may also delete your Personal Information under My Profile. If you do so, Usage Information specific to you will also be deleted. Once deleted, none of the Shared Information or Usage Information you have entered will be retrievable by you or associated with you.

IX. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is effective as of January 24, 2019. We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make changes in the way we use Personal Information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on our Website or sending you an email. You are bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when you use the Website after such changes have been first posted.
